Have you ever considered that the way you relate in love might not have started with you?

We often believe that our relationship patterns come only from our personality, luck or past experiences. But many times, without realizing it, we are repeating emotional patterns that existed long before us.
We may find ourselves choosing the same type of relationship, experiencing the same pain, attracting emotionally unavailable partners or avoiding love altogether. And we end up thinking it is bad luck or that something is wrong with us.
In family constellations, we can see that many of these dynamics originate in our family system. How love was lived before us, through our parents, grandparents or significant figures, deeply influences how we experience love today.
Some of the most common themes that can be constellated in love are:
Attracting relationships that do not nurture
Fear of intimacy
Giving too much and losing yourself
Difficulty being chosen
Fear of abandonment
Repeating patterns from mother or father
Constellating is not about fixing the relationship or changing the other person. It is about releasing what is not yours, honoring what belongs to the system and creating space to experience love in a way that feels more authentic, conscious and lighter.
If this topic resonates with you, consider it an invitation to look at your story with more compassion. And if you know someone who might relate, share it. May this awareness bring more peace and freedom to love in your own way.
