What nobody tells you about learning to read energy

When someone thinks about learning to read auras, they imagine they're going to learn to see things about other people.
That's what gets sold and that's what people go looking for. And it's the smallest part of what actually happens.
The work starts with you
You can't read someone else's field clearly while your own is full of your things.
This isn't a nice phrase. It's mechanics.
Whatever hasn't been worked through in you will show up in what you read in others, dressed as intuition. You'll think you're receiving information about that person and you'll be seeing your own story reflected back. It's the most common beginner's mistake and also the hardest to catch, because it looks exactly like a real reading.
So the work doesn't start with the other person. It starts with you.
That's why it takes time
There are weekend trainings. There are videos promising to teach this in two hours.
They can teach the technique. They can't teach neutrality, because neutrality isn't taught, it's trained, and training takes time.
Six months isn't too long. It's the minimum for your own things to start moving, for you to practise enough that your body knows how to do it on its own, and for you to see in yourself the difference between what you felt at the start and what you feel at the end.
The uncomfortable part
Nobody says this in the adverts, so I'll say it.
Along the way, things of yours will surface. Patterns you already knew about and some you didn't. Moments where you realise that what you're seeing in the other person is yours.
It isn't always pleasant. And that's precisely where the work happens.
That's why it's done in a small group and with support. You don't cross this alone, and you shouldn't have to.
What stays
Here's the part almost nobody anticipates.
Neutrality doesn't stay in the session. It stays in you.
You start telling what's yours from what you've picked up, and that changes your days, not just your readings. You learn to clear yourself. You become able to sit with someone in pain without leaving emptied out.
People who go through this usually notice the difference in their lives before they notice it in their readings. In how they listen. In what they stop carrying home.
It isn't a technical course
It's a course where you learn technique and where, at the same time, the person applying it gets worked on.
The two can't be separated. The more worked through you are, the more neutral you can be. And the more neutral you are, the cleaner the reading.
That's the order. And that's the part nobody tells you.
